India, 5th - 11th February 2006

Jo, Alan and Steve took a rapid tour of the Golden Triangle in early February 2006. We landed in Delhi on the 5th, were driven to Agra two days later and then via Fatehpur Sikri went on to Jaipur. Two nights there, then a flight to Mumbai and then home.

This whirlwind tour meant that we really didn't stop - the amount of things we saw should probably be done over three weeks, not five days! It would be great to go back and see the forts and cities in more detail. However, this was a great trip nonetheless. It was fascinating to see such a different country and way of life.

Hopefully these pictures will give a flavour of the trip and the sights to be seen in northern India. To anyone contemplating a trip there - do it.
