Copper Foil Cats
How to make a copper foil panel in one whistle-stop tour.
First, cut your glass into the shape of the pattern.
Then, encase the edges in copper foil.
Clamp the pieces into place and solder them into one big piece.
Once it is all together, put an edge around it (lead or zinc) and then patina it black or copper-coloured. Then put polish on it. Leave to dry and bring to a shine.
Voila! One finished piece.
