- Installation and configuration instructions

1. Unzip the contents into a directory of choice

2. In NexStorm under the Options menu, select 
"FlashGate IPC" and enable the Strike option

3. If you are using a firewall, make sure that 
port 44965 is open for inbound and outbound TCP/IP
traffic.

4. Run Syncom

5. After a few seconds the Network status will 
read "Connected" if a connection could be established.

6. Syncom can now be minimized to the system tray 
where it will continue to run in the background.

Note: The IPC count will increase with each strike that 
is captured by NexStorm but a few strikes may occasionally 
be missed due to internal processing hold-ups, this is 
completely normal.


- Delayed startup
If for some reason the Syncom startup needs to be delayed 
(for instance to allow Windows network drivers to initialize 
after a reboot), edit the configuration file "station.config" 
with Notepad and set the parameter DELAYSTART to a suitable 
number. 

The DELAYSTART value indicates how many seconds Syncom will 
wait before making its first communication attempt with the 
StrikeStar server.
